I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this week has been! I have had my work featured on 3 wedding blogs this week including one of my favorites Ruffled. I seriously jumped up and down when I found out that the styled shoot I did with Maya from Poppy Love Weddings would be featured on Ruffled!! This has been a dream of mine to have my work featured on their blog and I have finally done it! YAY!! Of course, I couldn’t have done it without the wonderful help of my friend Maya. She completely dreamt up the whole shoot, I just provided the models, vintage wedding gown and pictures. I showed up and captured all the beautiful details she provided. I was seriously in detail heaven!
About a month ago I had the privilege of doing head shots for Maya for her new website. She just launched it on Tuesday and man oh man is it gorgeous! Be sure and head over to her blog and leave her a little love! Also, check her out on Facebook & Twitter too. That way you can stay up to date with all she’ll be doing!

Also, enjoy a few of my favorites from the couple session we did at the Wildflowers Photography Workshop! This beautiful couple will be coming in 2 posts… be on the look out for the next one in the next few days!
After attending my first ever photography workshop (branches & light)… I was instantly inspired to do a styled shoot. Not just any styled shoot but one that I could display who I am and what I love as a photographer. I thought about it for months… and finally pulled together some ideas I had running through my head. I enlisted the help of Elizabeth to brainstorm with me and see if we could bounce different ideas around. I knew Elizabeth and I had the same style and love for all things simple, fresh & vintage! Since Elizabeth had just finished planning her own wedding in May I knew she would be great for the job! We did everything ourselves… from Elizabeth’s hair & make up to the weaved blanket she laid on. Everything was done by us… which is probably why I’m so proud of it! ha!
I am beyond excited with how this shoot turned out! It was EXACTLY what I imagined it to be in my head… but even better! Love when that happens! We were blessed with a gorgeous (but HOT) July evening. We couldn’t have asked for better light… it was perfect!
Dress – Elizabeth’s mother’s wedding dress
Hair & make up – Elizabeth (& Kylee) from Freshair salon Fayetteville, AR

Now onto the gorgeous pictures! Enjoy!
