The Process
As a mom myself, I totally get how hectic life with littles (or one on the way) can be! I’ll make this process as easy and stress-free as possible. You can trust you are in experienced hands, whether it’s helping select the perfect outfit or getting those stubborn toddlers to smile.
01 | Inquire
Reach out for full pricing information and to inquire about my availability. I recommend reaching out at least 1-2 months in advance of when you’d like to schedule your session.
02 | Planning
We’ll collaborate to select the location for your session, whether you are looking for a beach backdrop, an indoor studio, or perhaps a session at home. I’m available for any questions that come up as you prepare for your session.
03 | Session Day
On the day of your session, I’ll arrive early to set up and ensure the perfect lighting and backdrop. We’ll get started right away as I help any tentative kiddos warm up to the camera and have fun! I’ll gently guide you through poses and prompts to capture your family naturally and organically.
04 | Gallery Delivery
You’ll receive a sneak peek of your photos within a week of your session, followed by your full gallery within 3 weeks. All digital images are included, and I’ll help you select artwork and albums to commemorate your favorite captures.

Frequently Asked
I’m based in Florida and photograph sessions throughout the state. I also frequently travel to New England and am thrilled to capture portrait sessions there as well. Please reach out for details about my travel schedule and rates.
Where are you located, and do you travel?
We definitely want to time your maternity session right, so we can capture your growing bump, but still with plenty of time to go before your due date. Typically around the end of your second trimester or beginning of your third trimester is the perfect time.
When should I schedule my maternity session?
We’ll be in close contact leading up to your due date, and I’ll ask that you reach out to me when baby makes their arrival. Most parents enjoy capturing newborn photos within the first three weeks of baby’s life while they are still in that snuggly newborn stage.
When should I schedule my newborn session?
With two girls of my own, and experience photographing kiddos of all personalities, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to warm your little ones up to the camera and capture those precious smiles and laughs! I also focus on capturing the natural interactions between your family, so I’ll often fade into the background, providing minimal direction and capturing you just as you are. Often the most reticent kids take well to this approach and we get the sweetest shots this way!
How do you handle kids who don’t love the camera?
For certain locations (such as the beach), weather may necessitate rescheduling. I will be in touch leading up to your scheduled session date if weather is a concern, and we will make an alternate plan. For other reschedules, please reach out no later than 48 hours in advance of your session to reschedule.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
Of course! I will happily provide you with a full sample gallery upon request, specific to the type of session you are booking (maternity, newborn, family).
