I’m so excited to share with you all a new series I’ll be doing. I haven’t come up with a name for it yet, I’m not even sure it needs a name really. It’s just something that I’m passionate about… worship, music & Jesus. One of my favorite things to do is to get in the car, turn up the music and just drive. I’m thankful to have a husband who is passionate about all those things too. We love just driving & worshiping together. While at Making Things Happen last week I was chatting with Sarah about music. Showing her some of my new favorite songs. I just kept saying, “Listen to these words. They are art.” I’m not a writer but goodness do I love when I hear a beautifully written lyric. It’s something I’m in awe of… just the process that goes into writing a song. It’s amazing to me. I tell my husband all the time how awesome I think he is for writing his own music. He really is a pretty talented writer. 🙂 I maybe a little biased though. : )
So, all that to say that I’m super stoked about this! It won’t be on a specific day each week but I do plan on trying to do this at least once a week. It’s my way of sharing with you maybe some new music, or just sharing with you what I’m passionate about! I can’t guarantee that I’ll write with each post. Like I said, writing is definitely NOT my passion but maybe once in awhile I’ll share a little more about why I like a song or lyric. My plan is to not really have a plan but to just share when I feel lead to. Are y’all excited?! YAY! 🙂
